Biography

Dennis grew up in a small village in Stubaital called Stackler, heavily influenced by his Ghanaian father and Austrian mother. Dennis started skiing at the age of three, but after a while he began to snowboard as he wanted to emulate his older brother who he idolised - Dennis wanted to do everything he did!

He and his friends would go to their home mountain pretty much every day when they had free time. Here they would always board through tight and tricky woods, where Dennis’ board would get stuck every couple of meters and so from this point, he decided it was time to return to the skis.

Dennis got so fascinated and stoked from skiing that he didn’t want to do anything else. After a couple years of competing at local contests with friends, he joined the Austrian ski team where he was able to travel and compete on a large scale, a highlight of his was being able to compete at the World Cup. Whilst skiing with Austria, he also started experimenting with video production for ski movies.

As a kid Dennis watched every single ski movie available, and he still does because that was always the thing that inspired him the most, Dennis loves the individuality and creative aspects of filming and producing. So, he eventually decided to quit skiing at a competitive level to put all his energy into filming. Dennis has filmed with : Level 1 productions, Hadbud productions, The Legs of Steel, We are the Coterie and also undertaken some projects with friends.

We look forward to seeing more of what’s to from Dennis.
